Cricket and Carnival – two of Guyana’s most celebrated events – will collide to produce an electrifying and pulsating event for the country’s nationals and tourists alike. The inaugural Cricket Carnival will be hosted from September 16 to October 2, 2022 at 229 South road, Georgetown under the “One Guyana” theme, and will see visitors having a plethora of options for entertainment and recreational activities to choose from. The offering includes music festivals, cultural shows, soca competitions, road march competitions, and organized tours.

Cricket Carnival will be an annual event as Guyana hosts the CPL finals over the next three years. The main aim of these events is to put Guyana on show for its authentic experiences, whether it is its rich and diverse cultures, getting in tune with nature, or exploring the built heritage or city vibes in the coast.

Machel Montano, international soca artist, will also be present as a headliner at the carnival. The award-winning musician is bringing his high-energy performance laced with a taste of his Trinidadian homeland to perform a Super Concert for October 1st’

It’s club-hopping with a Cricket Carnival Twist! With just one ticket, enjoy all-night access to multiple clubs, each of which will have a designated CPL team on spot. Spend the night getting to know the players of your favourite teams at the hottest bars. It doesn’t get better than that!

In the Carnival, the name of the events would be city and nights.
